Admire the famous 123 metre spire of Salisbury Cathedral, and unlike Russian agents, go inside to see the Magna Carta, the world’s oldest clock and the peregrine falcons. Why not take a free guided tour of the cathedral?
The Salisbury Museum has some interesting objects in its collections, including the Amesbury Archer, the Bowerchalke Roman Hoard, and a costume gallery. It’s next door to the cathedral, so it is easy to find. Visit the cafe at King’s House for a sandwich or tea and cake.
Please note that this tour will not be stopping off at Stonehenge because there will be too much snow, even on a hot, sunny day.
